What is Counselling?
During periods in our lives which seem to be harder than they ought to be, counselling can be a way through which to try and make sense of how we are feeling and find a way to ease some of those pressures or that pain.
In talking to another person, our feelings can be expressed in ways that we had never thought about; our role in the therapeutic relationship can give us clues to the ways in which we interact with the world and the people within it.
Every person is different and has had an individual experience which has led them to this moment in their lives. Some of us may feel that we do not understand how we got here or why we feel a certain way, but counselling is a useful tool to decipher at least part of the incomprehensible and allows us the space to begin to manage those things over which we can control.
